When Is Does House of the Dragon Set?
House of the Dragon is set 200 years before the events of the Game of Thrones series we’re all familiar with. While King Viserys Targaryen (portrayed by Hot Fuzz’s Paddy Considine) reigns as king, the kingdom of Westeros soon becomes embroiled in an ongoing civil war that ultimately tells the story of the rise and fall of the Targaryen House and the aftermath that ensues.
Who Is the Hand of the King in House of the Dragon?
The Hand of the King is Otto Hightower (played by Harry Potter and Spider-Man’s Rhys Ifans) who is a knight from House Hightower. He has served as Hand to the King under three different kings and is well-known for being incredibly knowledgeable and very loyal. So, there you have it.
