Reliance Jio promises that the Data transfer speed of their 4G network will reach up to 135Mbps. With this promise, the Indian market has gone crazy and anyone can witness huge crowd in front of Reliance’s Digital store or Xpress Mini store. However, according to the latest reports from Ookla, the company behind the world’s popular Speed test app shows that Reliance JIO internet speed is down significantly compared to how it was earlier. Ookla had shown a graph of Reliance Jio Users in the blue color and rest of the 4G users in Purple color. The graph shows how Reliance Jio jumped over 21 million on September 16. Possibly this is because Reliance Jio officially announced the Welcome offer from almost every smartphone holders. Reliance Jio’s strongest suit is its 4G Speed. Many Jio users already claimed about the falling speed. However, the numbers released by Ookla confirms all claims and shows us that the falling speed was actually real. The data released by Ookla shows that download speeds for 4G capable smartphones dropped every month. If we take a look at the month September then the download speed has fallen from 11.31Mbps to 8.77Mbps. Users had also claimed that they registered speed as low as 0.5Mbps too! Reliance Jio had somehow managed to improve its call quality in previous months. Understanding that JIO service is free right now, we could expect that speed issue will be resolved in coming times.
