Recently, at the Game Developers Conference, in San Francisco, Nvidia unveiled a new graphics card. CEO Jen-Hsun of Nvidia called Geforce GTX 1080 Ti the “fastest gaming CPU” ever made. Jen-Hsun claimed that the new GRX 1080 Ti is 35% faster compared to GTX 1080. Not only this, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is the little bit faster than Titan X which is built for deep learning and AI applications. One thing is worth noting that both Nvidia Titan X and GTX 1080 uses the same GPU that is GP102 with 3,584 Nvidia CUDA cores. However, GTX 1080 Ti’s comes with “a massive 11GB frame buffer running at an unheard of 11GBps.” Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti is the first GPU in the world to pack GDDR5X RAM and supports “advanced graphics technologies” which includes 4K, VR, Nvidia G-Sync HDR and also Nvidia Gameworks. The price of Nvidia Titan X is $1200 whereas the price of Nvidia GTX 1080 is $699. Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti is slightly more expensive than the GTX 1080 but a lot cheaper than Nvidia Titan X. Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti will be available worldwide from this month, starting at $699.
